Rev. José Humphreys III is a soulful strategist, consultant, certified organizational development coach, circle keeper, and where discernment meets design. Rooted in East Harlem and fluent in the rhythms of resilience, justice, and collective care, he weaves healing approaches into boardrooms and sanctuaries alike. As the founder of Mosaic Collaborative, José helps leaders and organizations cultivate the mindsets, presence, and practices that make workplaces more joyful, connected, and courageous.
His leadership work spans across sectors—from commercial real estate and philanthropy to higher education and faith-based communities. José’s offerings include trauma-informed leadership formation, executive coaching, organizational change, restorative conversations, team weaving, and the design of systems that center employee well-being.
He is especially passionate about working with lived-experience, namely individuals formerly involved by the justice system. He has designed trauma-informed onboarding and orientation programs, facilitated healing circles and mentored lived experience experts to become coaches and consultants. José also co-designed the Credible Messenger Institute at Community Connections for Youth—an evidence-informed healing initiative for legally impacted adults who mentor youth on similar paths.
