Jennifer Kaake is a trauma-informed leader, consultant, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of trauma, mental health, reentry, and systems transformation. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to justice, healing, and spiritual wholeness — guiding individuals and organizations toward environments where resilience, dignity, and connection are possible.
Since 2010, Jennifer has served communities impacted by trauma, incarceration, and systemic harm. She has worked inside carceral systems, supported youth and adults navigating reentry, and led large-scale programs in housing and behavioral health. Her leadership has been instrumental in designing trauma-responsive, equity-driven frameworks that support staff wellness, program integrity, and community trust.
Jennifer brings a soulful, heart-centered approach to consulting — partnering with teams to cultivate trauma-informed practices, build emotionally intelligent leadership, and create structures that center care and sustainability. She believes that healing is sacred work, and that organizations can become spaces of transformation when they honor the full humanity of their staff and those they serve.
She holds a Master’s degree in Forensic and Counseling Psychology from William James College and has received advanced training in trauma-informed organizational development, including certification through the Sanctuary Institute.
